I get it, it sucks, I want to support creators too, but if I can get a better deal for less that's equal quality elsewhere, I might just go for that.
Besides, where is the SC64 created? Personally I don't live in the US and it's more expensive for me to import one from there if that's the case.

I mean, with SC64 you just order a cheap one from china or something. (I don't know if tariffs affect anything, maybe they do)

I don't normally dabble with romhacks much, but I decided to dig into some of the more famous ones on my N64 through the SC64 including this one for MK64. Overall pretty fun new maps, even if some barely run on real hardware and a handful are... thematically unhinged in a way to I can respect.

Even if the SC64's creator were some kinda abrasive asshole -- and I have no idea, I don't know them, never interacted with them -- you're being just as much of one. If not moreso, IMO.
