A ★★★½ review of Crime 101 (2026)
At this point I think we have gotten past the super hero and Ip craze for the most part, they won’t be completely going away but it does seem like lately were getting a little more variety when it com...

A ★★★½ review of Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025)
Todays world seems so bleak, especially when it comes to the way we consume media and the AI race that seems to possibly destroy all creativity and even labor for that matter. Yet while most don’t fee...

Besides magazines these ads were the other media that let you dream or plan for future releases. I miss those days you’d look at stores paper ads and get excited for a new release. Now it’s just click pre order and move on.

Finally tried Mama Mia in La Mesa, and Italian Deli and Pizza joint thats been open a couple of months. Had a how Ya Doin Sandwhich that was solid and very balanced. Tried 3 slices of various pizza types and hands down some of the best I had and very flavorful with a solid crust.

I was surprised that this time sony actually had a decent state of play. Sure most announced are multiplat but stuff like Beast of Reincarnation and Yakoh Shinobi Ops are some strong showings. Plus seems like Konami making an effort to revive it’s ip and nice to see mgs4 finally getting ported.

Barts Nightmare seems a given considering how hard of an advertising push it had but surprised how much better snes version sold over Gen ver considering install base. Bart VS Juggernauts on GB was a bit of a surprise as big seller.
From the VGHF's Mark Flitman collection (https://archive.gamehistory.org/folder/205c628c-5d0a-4de8-a5a5-782f31706ac0), here's 1994 internal Acclaim data on the (U.S.?) sales of their (many!) Simpsons games. Looks like Bart's Nightmare on SNES did the best....

Has anyone tried Mamma mia in La Mesa yet? Think they might be the only place locally that serves those big flat bread italian sandwiches.

@bguyle.itch.io crossing fingers international release
Even though I understand the amount of localisation work that would be involved, I would commit up to five misdemeanour-level crimes for an English port of this.
Konami is releasing a 13-game Goemon collection this summer for consoles and PC.

Now really a big U2 guy but picked this up as it is the only way to physically own the music video they did for Batman Forever as it was a cool animated video that was done in comic book style. Strangely it has never been included in any home releases of Batman Forever.

Yesterday I went to see Send Help and in the lobby was the most studio reps I have ever seen in one theater dressed all in black there to represent the Melania doc with lanyards on of the docs poster. Real sad amazon and talk about hired goons!

Before Bad Boys and Martin House Party was one of the early roles for Martin Lawerence that got him noticed back then. Also Dj’ing was no joke back then.

Look I know the friendly is good but 8 for a broken window? They must really love eating there cause you’re lucky if you get one to show up if someone breaks your own window.

I watched the Bruce Springsteen movie last night fell asleep half way through. Gave it a chance cause of Jeremy Allen white but man hardly anything happens in this movie. It’s like that Simpsons quote from Ned’s parents “Doc we tried nothing and we’re all out of ideas.”

Finally found the naked cool ranch Naked Doritos and it’s an interesting experience. Chips taste super fresh but seasoning taste is more similar to those quest chip knock offs though more refined. It feels weird to eat cause it feels off but you’ve just been use to the original it’s just weird.

Hi new followers!

Here is a project I hope we can get moving again (was put on ice a year ago), and finish off sometime in 2025.
It's a Super CDrom System game for PC Engine!

Vid below shows a test level with temp artwork.
