This list of major film releases next year is dire. I know it isn’t the full slate and lots of lovely original smaller stuff will release, but I count a grand total of three films here that aren’t a sequel, remake, or franchise.

War of the Rohirim fell flat in so many ways. It's ok by itself but other than some references at the end there's very little to show it's a LOTR movie.
Animation quality was just not there most of the time and the scriptwriting was bad.
I really wanted to like it but disconnected like 20 min in.
