After spending the weekend rereading Canadian and BC Human Rights laws and precedent, I'm on the hunt for a Human Rights Lawyer to challenge my sport competition ban. Pro Bono would be amazing. I have some leads but any other recs for BC lawyers would be appreciated

![From Taco: Hey lucca - sorry for the delay in replying - this required some thought and discussion with [redacted]. We've given this time.
However I think it's worth having a larger discussion about how to approach this type of mutual aid. For example, [redacted] and I plan our giving each year and try to give as much as possible and in ways that maximize:
1. The impact on the most folks possible (Qmunity, Rainbow Refuge, MSF, etc.).
2. Push for change so these types of situations don't occur as often in the future (Fair Vote, Indigenous leadership, etc.).
We do this planning specifically so we don't make emotional decisions, especially in areas we aren't experts. We also know that often funds go further when donated to organizations, both because we can deduct them from our taxes so we can give more and because they have the infrastructure to help more people more efficiently.
In this case we don't know how much Ryah needs these funds compared to those we help through other organizations that are setup to triage/prioritize. We don't have the bandwidth or expertise to evaluate/ choose who gets support which is why we're conflicted about this.

Speedromizer VIII is set to go live this weekend December 5th-7th, continuing with part 2 the following weekend December 12th-14th. Two Gameboy Color Pokémon games are scheduled for the 13th: Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon Crystal, the latter of which will be a part of a multiworld alongside Tunic and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
