Please know, straight people were allies long ago as actors representing—genuinely, lovingly, and authentically—queer culture when queer people wouldn’t be hired. They used their privilege to share our stories, and PQotD was a beautiful and glorious love story to queerness and trans people LONG ago.

While he's been in many works PQOTD has always held a special place in my little get heart. I'm not even completely sure were I got this poster but it's been in every apartment/home I've ever had as a talisman of what this film meant to me. He and his presence will be sorely missed.
