Dolls are clearly the best stress test toy out there. Any damage to them is so replaceable! And their face is replaceable if they act out and insist they used to be human.

There's a very weird loyalty around D&D, and I see it held up as an infinitely moddable system. It isn't. It's a fine system on it's own, but, indeed, systems made for specific genres/focus are often far better at it.

i'm still more interested in playing new leaf again currently but pretendo is really dragging their feet on reopening the servers despite the rce fix being done already. and new horizons Is actually very moddable in comparison to new leaf so having it My Way would possibly be better than new leaf

maybe this suggestion isn't that much more helpful but, cheap and old smart TVs that are moddable are a good option
just swapping the OS on it with something custom (there are a lot which is why i'm not being specific) so you can have the best of both worlds and affordable

Lowkey kind of a metric I want to keep track of in the games I make - how quickly does the nsfw art and/or mods get made for it. Even in games that aren't baseline sexual or moddable.

It is objectively good for people to be able to mod your game easily. I was concerned if we were gonna be moddable but the community cracked the game open like a big juicy coconut before we even launched
This is why for any desktop release I do in the future I want to continue to use the normal C# binaries - even though C# now supports compiling to native binaries (great for Consoles) I want it to be easy to decompile the game.

Definitely mod the OG version. emulating the PS2 is "cheap" but definitely not as cheap as running base x86 code and just modding it. Probably more extensible (moddable) too.

At most, the only thing I want them to do with SA1 is give it a new, better, more Dreamcast-accurate port to modern platforms that doesn't use PC SADX as a base. And that's *at most*, & I don't even want that to replace the really moddable Steam release, either. I don't want a remake even slightly.
