Once again, protection for free speech is all about protecting horrible people from criticism.
“LGBTQ+ staff had complaints” and “you could see the protests through the window”, along with “inclusion policy had a chilling effect on freedom of speech” are just sad and pathetic and hateful.

This is literally what conservatives do -

He’s justifying British colonialism by pretending that one guy with a Gaelic name who is homophobic somehow equates to all Gaels being homophobic, then pretending to be on the side of inclusion.

It’s the “Palestinians don’t like lgbtq” bullshit.
“The Gaelic peoples”, mar dhea.

Ken Maginnis has a Gaelic Irish name, Mac Aonghusa. Gerry Adams doesn’t.

And the only reason Theobald Wolfe Tone wouldn’t give him a solid education about who’s Irish is Ranting Dan would have got there first.

How many more times do we have to see this shit. Being so hateful to non-binary people makes you an enemy of the LGBTQ community, not an ally, you fucking asshole. Stop hiding your hate behind a flag meant to represent love and inclusion.

2025 has been a year of LGBTQ+ setbacks, with rights vanishing, funding slashed and hostility on the rise.

I hate to contribute and I ought to be the bigger hare, but in the interest of Ace Inclusion a decade ago he was one of the loudest obstacles for getting acceptance in the LGBT community, and I wound up losing friends over his takes.

Are Leo’s gestures towards inclusion genuine steps forward, or carefully measured moves to preserve unity in a divided church?

I never get inclusion as it is like one can't satisfy one group out of 200+. I'm sorry but I can't slice any kind of dishes let alone a pizza thinking of inclusion. Consider yourself included as the law is equal for 200+ different countries that migrated at whatever timeline. Laws are made for LGBTQ

In our first paper on instrumental inclusion we showed that people update their views on LGBTQ+ rights in response to out-group threat.

Here we extend the theory to test diverse cases of selective inclusion
