Old photo: not quite your average budgie cage! The lavish formal gardens created for Queen Elizabeth I by her friend (ahem...) Robert Dudley, later Earl of Leicester, included a huge aviary, and have been beautifully re-created by English Heritage at Kenilworth Castle in Warwickshire.

Only place I've gotten one is on Kenilworth Ave near the aquatic gardens and it was like yeah, I get why the limit is low there!
