#Imajica
Clive Barker's Imajica is actually about a secret internal affairs, IA, program for Magic: the Gathering.

This is in my head for reasons I can't trace out.

it says a great deal about me that the three books i reread about once a year are novels about ego death:
- Steppenwolf
- some cringe berkeley hippie self help autofiction i weirdly imprinted on as a child
- Imajica (824 pages of horny violent interdimensional fantasy by Clive Barker)

I was surprised they never adapted Imajica.

But I'm glad they didn't. It was 500 pages too long.

Clive Barker's Imajica is a work of fiction, but it blew my mind.

Opened up a memory gate.

Joseph Beth Booksellers. Think the book out was the second Imajica book.

Only have two signed pics from back then. Clive Barker and Dave Coulier.

I later hugged and said the same thing to Sara “Chibi” Taylor who was very surprised and told me I was beautiful and that Vanishing Game is one her favorites as well

Anyways I forgot to thank them for introducing me to the book Imajica (the band’s namesake before they changed it)

I’m sorting out my shelves and it’s reminded me why I love paperbacks more than hardbacks. Paperbacks age so we’ll from the love of being read. I’ve had these books over thirty years (over forty for Chocky) and they have scars and creases like a beloved friend.

Wow, that first image looks like one of the cities out of Clive Barker's Imajica.

Imajica is a thing of wondrous beauty.

Oh man. You are about to embark on a magical journey. The best Barkers are "Imajica" "Weaveworld" and "The Great and Secret Show".

Oh, to be able to read them again without knowing how they end.

Imajica and Weaveworld have stuck with me far longer than I ever expected them to.

Imajica? Got it

I heard The Scarlet Gospels good but only if you got prior knowledge of his other works

Try and make that happen. I read the Books of Blood short story volumes of thirty years ago and I still remember those damn stories. His novel Imajica is fabulous

Ooo, I read the one pictures there, "Imajica," back in my freshman year of high school. I think I inadvertently discovered Clive Barker's "Hell Raiser" around the same time, which actually fits my timeline of getting into horror and fantasy stuff around 5th-9th grade. And then it just stopped. 🤔

Weaveworld, The Books of Blood, The Great and Secret Show, Imajica, The Hellbound Heart, Cabal. I haven't read any of his later books; they were all from the 80s and early 90s.

Clive Barker. Imajica.

Clive Barker's Imajica.

As a kid, I used to lump him in with James Herbert&Stephen King.

&while THEY had their OWN virtues, Barker, I've realised, is a prose stylist of some GREATER skill. &his imagination VOLUMINOUS..!!

Darkness, existentialism&fate, fantasy, horror.. but, above all, LOVE..!!

Agreed to both, it explains why I didn't want Imajica or Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell to be shorter, and also why The Priory of the Orange Tree has sat on my shelf untouched since I bought it almost 2 years ago 🤷‍♂️

Clive Barker's Imajica?

About 2/3 of the way through Imajica and Maestro Sartrori is giving off William Nix vibes. I hope I'm wrong

I'm a horror guy, but Barker's dark fantasy stuff really feels like where his heart is. Imajica, Cabal and Abarat are some of, if not, his best writing and world building.
