Mid November 2023 I moved into a Large 2 bedroom suite to begin my duties as the Live-in Superintendent. I brought the fireplace and various objects with me from the Beach the place was freshly painted so I had a blank canvas as it where. After just over 2 years as the Superintendent I took this photo of our home just after our 3rd and final Christmas 2025. I never liked the place and never pretended too I always thought it was the too big part. I adapted made do with what I had and in the end was happy to share my space. I walked through again after the painters came through and any evidence of me had been removed I came to the conclusion “The Soul is what you bring with you or put into and Not what you take away”

My rat is not angry, but they are coloured in shade of pale purple, with glowing eyes and outlines, floating against a purple-black background. In the middle, silver writing says “Moon Crystals”, then below it, “One year full moonlight guaranteed!”. I find the most gorgeous chips of clear quartz in our soil, and I wanted to put them in a bottle with a label to add to a found object art piece. A marker, ink, and paint pen drawing of a very squat purple toad alien. It wasn’t meant to be an alien, but something happened, and this was the result. The metallic purple paint highlights seemed logical after that, as did the red metallic eyes with yellow irises and sideways black pupils in the toad’s very large eyes. The smile was intentional. This is a very happy purple alien toad. Above the toad’s back is written “toadally confident in my weird”, with a gold star at each end, and surrounded by red metallic dots. Reference: 19th century botanical toad prints, but it’s kind of moot at this point.
