Our first night Sleeping in Chubbs we arrived just before dark in Markdale. I Woke up at first light I took a few photos gathered a couple of things and hit the road.

And Then There Where Tears
Last moments after all the talk was over and it was time to say goodbye to Chubbs (the owner named the Westy)
A message to Chubbs previous owner after our return trip home in +Alt.
Chubbs first drive Bruno and I had a lovely drive home taking the slow road I called the mechanic but it was too late to look at Chubbs I’ll have to take another trip out I have some technical questions that would be best answered by them. I have a favourite word that would best describe the feeling of driving Chubbs “Organic” not the green washing kind you find in the Supermarket but from the heart. From watching the odometer click by (I reset the trip and logged 122 kilometres door to door) listening to all the different sounds (like the rattle of the fire extinguisher handle) the engine rev’s personality I need a tach. Setting the analog clock to my chronograph watch. Winding the window up and down to moderate heat then Getting a thumbs up 👍 from a TTC bus driver just after he pulled up and looked you up and down and you stare blankly out the passenger window realizing there is no way to roll it down and retuning the 👍 . Trying to find 1st gear and then trying to find 1st gear again and again then finding 3rd and stalling it’s tricky (a question for the mechanic) adjusting the drivers side mirror by hand at highway speed because a tractor trailer came by in the opposite direction. Just a little taste of our ride home we came straight home with no wrong turns (When you’re driving in a Westy there are no wrong turns) Thank You Chubbs will be just fine your memories will last forever. I’ll bring your original Cyanotype print of the Forget Me Not when I come down to see the mechanics Good Night R&B 🐾

Incredibly emotional day today I feel a huge burden has been lifted for I don’t have to chase my dream anymore, I just have to live my dream.
I had to go back to the beginning 18 years ago my first brand new car and first of few COL videos 🙏
