Clemson’s got measles. They require MMR vaccination for all students, unless they have a religious or medical exemption.

Students with these exemptions may be required to “leave campus for up to two weeks after the last case is confirmed”, according to their vaccine exemption form.

Archbishop Timothy Broglio declares an invasion of Greenland would violate Catholic doctrine & Catholic soldiers can refuse to comply. Looks like the MAGA religious exemption rule applies to more than just cakes. Can't wait to see MAGAs declare we're a secular nation with religion/state separation.

The next day, a message is flashed to all British Consulates in Germany:

You can grant temporary visas to those on the US waiting list. BUT:

1) EVERY exemption needs to be signed PERSONALLY by the relevant Consul.
2) We're not ordering you to. Just highlighting it's okay, if you're asked. /10

In order to obtain a religious exemption for vaccines, you should have to provide evidence from your religion that proves it’s against doctrine.

And you’ll be SOL, because the major global religions have overtly supported vaccines, and the very scarce ones that don’t represent a tiny fraction.

The way in which the US Supreme Court has been trying to for a year now illogically carve out a "none of this applies to the Fed" exemption from the administration's reign of terror on civic institutions, which it is otherwise agrees with, underlines the only way to hurt these guys is in the money.
Kavanaugh is sounding even more skeptical than any of the other conservatives. He's coming out and saying "letting you do this would hurt Fed independence".

Cannot be stated enough that mainstream liberalism in America and Western Europe has a comprehensive exemption carved out for MENA, the rules need not apply.
Notably, served in an administration that did not reverse its predecessor’s recognition of Israeli sovereignty in the Golan and Moroccan sovereignty in Western Sahara.
At base this self soothing rhetoric is already pathetic but it's made all the more unbelievable when it comes from a guy like Dan Shapiro, who loves Trump's policies on Palestine and Iran and thinks Biden should have mirrored them even more than he did

Folks should know that Colorado Dems are running a bill that would subsidize data centers with a 100% sales and use tax exemption. We’ve defeated bills like this before but I expect this to be a high profile battle this year.

Uhm can I get a old exemption because I automatically think

“ TOUCH IT bring it pay it watch turn it leave stop format it”

"Colorado ... Democrats introduced a bill backed by data center industry groups. If approved, it would give data center developers a 20-year exemption from paying state sales and use taxes — if they meet a series of economic and environmental requirements." www.cpr.org/2026/01/20/c...
Colorado lawmakers brace for their biggest battle yet over AI data centers
The data center boom is coming for Colorado. Lawmakers are set to decide whether to incentivize it or guard against the potential impacts.

Rob Manfred has been falling over himself to lick the boots of this hateful, disgusting administration and the players STILL don't have any real protection. The only thing he really gives a shit about is MLB's anti-trust exemption, clearly

It appears that the party advocating for limited government and states' rights, which I anticipated might view this as a breach of their principles, has created an exemption to their stance.

If the fighting words exemption still exists, inclusion on a list of “lions of insightful debate” along with Jordan Peterson, Curtis Yarvin and Elon Musk has to qualify.
