Its because of their surgical mask push that other groups like teacher's unions only offer surgical mask use too in their head office. They are following public's health MISTAKE.
I've informed ETFO of this, but they really need to hear it from public health for any institutional changes to occur.

Hey, Toronto.

I like your pretty street art.

You’re great to visit for my union stuff.

But I’m really looking forward to sleeping in my own bed.

Send positive public transit thoughts my way.

(And let’s get better all-day, two-way Go train Kitchener-Toronto service please).

I have zero interest in crawling into the minds of conservatives to try & see what makes them tick

I see people for who they are & don’t need to know why

I saw McGuinty/Wynne for who they were when they destroyed ED by betraying teachers&ETFO sold out their members

🇨🇦is lost w/out educated voters

I'll make a prediction next year. There will be a strike with ETFO, Doug Ford will be shamed into coming back after labour day as opposed to October

On Human Rights Day, we affirm that worker rights are human rights. When human rights are ignored, exploitation, inequality, and injustice take root. Recognizing the rights of 𝐚𝐥𝐥 peoples is essential to building fair, safe, and equitable workplaces and communities. #ETFO #OnLab #OntEd

Pleased to welcome #ETFO Vice-President Mary Fowler to our Stewards & New Members Mtg & Dinner. Mary’s presenting to a room full of New Members (in their first 5 yrs of permanent teaching) about their union, ETFO…what it has to offer and why it’s powerful only with their participation. #OntEd #OnLab

Most important statement in this piece: "ETFO reiterated its long-standing call for the government to end the testing program and 'redirect the millions spent on EQAO into classrooms by investing in smaller class sizes and supports that genuinely enhance student learning and well-being.'"

On the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. We remember 14 women and countless others who have lost their lives to violence. Women’s rights are worker rights—rights to safe and equitable spaces free from violence. We commit to action and advocacy. #ETFO #OnLab #OntEd

The results are in…and they’re outstanding. Second kid in this house to absolutely *ACE* the Grade 3 EQAO test. We’re turning out geniuses over here, Paul Calandra, that’s all. #ETFO #OntEd #OnLab

“EQAO assessments shift accountability from the government’s chronic underfunding of public education to educators, placing blame where it should not be.”

Lovely to speak with the next generation of ETFO women leaders today in Toronto. Leaders For Tomorrow is an investment my union made in me when I was a new teacher. I stand on the shoulders of those who came before me, and I offer my shoulders to this next group of amazing women.

The EQAO tests should be abolished.
“Educators are struggling with large class sizes, increasing workloads, and rising violence in schools, yet the Ford government remains incomprehensibly fixated on meaningless EQAO results,” said ETFO President David Mastin.

And yet not ONE person I point this out to is willing to stop using AI

SCDSB has admin mandating the use of AI with students as young as 6yo-even when teachers question harm/lack of safety regulations

ETFO is doing NOTHING to🛑AI use in primary classrooms

This is manufactured demand for AI in🏫s🤷🏻‍♀️

Today marks the Int’l Day of Persons with Disabilities. Inclusion in workspaces is a right, not a privilege. We must advocate for equitable workplaces, accessible education, and stronger disability rights. Let’s keep learning, pushing, and building an inclusive future. #ETFO #onlab #onted

World AIDS Day reminds us that health and dignity are fundamental rights for all. We continue to fight for equitable access to healthcare, and we stand in solidarity with those living with HIV/AIDS and commit to education, advocacy, and action. End the stigma. #ETFO #OnLab #OntEd
