Jamey Byers Acting Principal, South River Public School Near North District School Board Q:How do you stay personally connected to what’s happening in classrooms and to the learning experiences of students?” A: Relationships are key to my role, and we know that feeling connected is key to strong relationships with students, staff and other stakeholders. I stay connected to classroom learning by spending time with students and teachers, listening, observing and being present in their day-to-day experiences. It allows me to stay grounded in what's happening and ensures I'm supporting the school community in meaningful ways.
