Le son de la pub Afia Oil vit dans ma tête et me donne envie mettre mes économies dans un Korg PA 700 Oriental et d'animer des soirées Raï, Cha3bi et Dabke jusqu'à la fin de mes jours.

Many other EU nationals move to CZE because the job market is in much better shape than places like Spain, Italy, and Greece. And, wages are much higher than other post-Communist economies like Romania and Bulgaria.

Capital has really never felt faker than it does now. When I hear about all the tech graduates suddenly finding tech doesn't need anymore people actually it really makes me think about the major criticism of planned economies being overproducing stuff people wanted before but don't need now, lol

One of PE’s big market advantages is their economies of scale.

Fighting PE requires finding ways to help small players work together to replicate that scale while remaining independent. Like supporting coops, or providing public tech resources.

This is work for state govs and orgs!
Look, there’s a simple solution to private equity buying up and enshittifying the software that keeps us safe: a handful of municipal fire/rescue departments should team up, collaboratively build and share better software, and release it into the public domain. This is a common pattern!

Donald Trump was given two strong economies, from Obama and Biden. All Trump had to do was leave things alone and take the credit. But, no. History will show Donald Trump jacked up not one, but, two different economies by being an idiot who couldn’t leave well enough alone. Damn shame.

Look bro.. this constant diatribe against FF while we need all energy we can get to grow our economies and keep energy prices low is just not OK

Solar + batteries costs are so low they'll automatically displace less efficient fuels but until then, we'll need both

You give climate action a bad name

I always thought Biden needed to call their bluff: Have governors sign a certificate of need on immigration enforcement, then send ICE to the red states and shut down big sectors of their economies by focusing on employers instead of individuals.

I suspect that history will look back kindly on the regulatory frameworks the EU is now rolling back.

The big problem is that: 1) the EU did not consider the impact of some regulations on smaller economies affected by them; and, 2) it didn't fill the gaps with domestic champions.
How the ‘Brussels effect’ backfired

We should create a TIFTA Turtle Island Free Trade Agreement (Canada, Mexico, Greenland). We can build and support our economies. We're not responsible for helping America's economy. As Trump likes to remind us, they don't need us for anything. 🙄🙄
