i do think that the answer to the satisfactionmadness rant from before is that i need to keep finding small things that i can generally feel satisfied with even if they don't go so well. art can be annoying in that if i don't like the result it's annoying but doodles are usually easy to complete

ok so i think i can consistently say that the melatonin makes me have some really weird not-sleep where i wake up every few hours on loop

the proactive thought is that if i could find a way to achieve something that satisfied me every day i wouldn't hate going to bed. but it's that exact instinct that leads to me doing tiny pointless delayed payoff gacha type bullshit all night and feeling mad when it's already time to go to sleep...
