#CoTeaching
One of the most important skill sets for people in my field is teamwork and few courses or research experiences are successful in developing this. Would be amazing to redirect with coteaching, team-building and problem-solving in a wider array of courses.
The most important thing universities should do in a world with AI is to greatly increase the number of professors, so that classes can be smaller and more class time can be spent directly interacting with students as people.

"employ in-class essays, oral exams+ rigorous discussions — that are far more difficult to use AI tools to complete. a close reading of the text should constitute the bulk in any introductory humanities class."

Just coteaching and interacting with people at our relatively obscure Phil program (analytical mostly) I kept being surprised by obviously problematic statements on conversation. I was left feeling they mistake formal philosophy for substantial critical thinking.

Happy day #281 of 2024
Got to circular dynamics in the class I'm coteaching with a colleague. Buddy busts out this demo and I gotta say, I'm impressed.
I've done it just using my arm but never trusted the homemade swing.
