oh shit, updating my BIOS fixed the long wake from sleep times! that already makes the hours I spent on this stupid issue worth it.
lastly… one very weird behavior from the BIOS, it couldn’t detect the name of the SSD from the NVMe configuration nor could it see the size. weird.
I figured updating the BIOS was the last realistic option. after fixing some settings that it wiped out, Windows… just worked now. what the fuck lol

I’ve always had a desire to create but my lack of ability to draw hampered me so much. But I still felt the needed to do something. Writing character bios, taking photos of the natural world, commissioning artists to bring my ideas to life, all of these are ways I satisfy that desire.
With all this awful news going on i wanna ask this question once again to fellow artists and general creatives. What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.

I go a step further. If no bios then I check who is following them. Then I check to see what posts they made. It makes a difference if it's a Follow or No Follow.

Good news: I was able to burn a DVD-R. Bad news: the machine doesn't recognize its DVD-ROM as a boot device.
Wince. Fortunately I have Windows 2000 installed (got it to install alongside XP). Next step is installing the BIOS update to add USB support

This happened to me, too! And on my junior year abroad in London no less. Thirteen-year-old me had completely misunderstood and misjudged her work. I simply wasn’t ready for it. College-me devoured everything she published, +bios/letters, and wrote a term paper 2x longer than it was supposed to be.

I've been thinking about selling pre-flashed thumbdrives that you can boot an old laptop with to turn it into a personal server but unfortunately there isn't a foolproof way to configure the bios to boot to a thumbdrive
