I'd go with Phillip's advice. Try the pressure washer and Autoglym interior shampoo stuff is pretty good. Or any decent household multi-purpose cleaner.

Mostly it involved a lot of prep in cleaning out the tubes and ash, a lot of Peek and Autoglym and loading coal, but great fun.

Fully agree, and the kids like spray painting it too :)
Which one have you got though? I bought the autoglym and it eats washers, meaning I tend to get soaked from a leak on the connection each time I use it.
It also wants 3 different phases which is a bit much

When you wonder how long you’ve had this metal polish and see that it was made in “West Germany”. Not sure that the Autoglym one is that much younger

I've used the autoglym kit on my mini and 116 trophy car - agree for seriously foggy lights, a coarser pad or cutting agent might yield better results

I'll check it out. This 'new' clear Autoglym stuff smells like liquid pink penicillin from the 70s, but is otherwise a bit crap.

I've use Autoglym Polar Blast and Bilt Hamber Auto Foam, with good results. However last year I got the MJJC Foam Cannon Pro V2.0 and now I use a lot less liquid and get more foam.

Bosh! Literally 20 mins later & ‘Elsa’ aka the ‘Frozen’ white fez is spotlessly clean again. I’m a big fan of a rinseless wash, but this stuff from Autoglym is superb. Smells great too! 👍

I've never handled an MSA, but I clean the glass on my S10 using Autoglym glass polish and a microfibre cloth. It's an arrangement intended for car windscreens but it works a treat 👍

Apart from smelling nice, why did they change Autoglym Bumper gel, a few years ago, from the old green snot.

I’m in a postcode that had somehow managed to dodge the ban, although I don’t use a hosepipe for cleaning the bike…two half buckets of water do the job, one with Autoglym UHD shampoo and then plain water👍
