Not a featherless biped. Unfortunately dutch. If you are here, you probably know who I am. She/Her. 🏳️‍⚧️
People who dislike Everything Everywhere All At Once live life on easy mode. They have a spreadsheet for a brain, and have never experienced the exquisite joy of being a silly little guy, or the profound sadness that comes with supporting a loved one through terrible times.

I am losing my fucking mind.

My UK-based trans friends are struggling to stay afloat every single day, and all I can do is tell them empty platitudes about being there for them, and tell myself empty platitudes like "oh well, at least it's not me". No one else is helping, no one is coming to save them, or any of us.

That's how it feels watching the UK destroying any semblance of dignity for trans people from here in NL, knowing it is only a matter of time before the same flavour of freak-show gets imported to here when the media realises there's money to be made there.

Human rights are something that justify all possible means, up to and including violence, to safeguard and protect.

If they really believed we were what we are then they wouldn't accept cutting us off regardless of pressure.

Their convictions run to the end of the cliche and no further.

Comparing him to Sophie Scholl, a german anti-fascist resistance operative who was killed by the nazis for her efforts, is honestly some of the most offensive shit I've seen from these ghouls.

I was invited to an extended family dinner last week, and against my better judgement I decided to go see them for the first time in forever. Imagine my shock when I hear people talking about me/my deadname for the first time in like 8 years lmao. I didn't even feel bad I was just like "HUH??"

But that may also be because people north of the rivers can be real fuckin jackasses to limburgish people for no reason at all, so I don't feel particularly tight with most dutch people anyway lmao

I grew up near Maastricht, where a 30 minute drive would more likely have you end up in belgium or germany than in the netherlands, and there is nothing weirder to me than people who feel they have a national identity that needs protecting.

It means "by the facts", usually contrasted by 'de jure' which (paraphrased) means "by the rules" essentially implying that something may be factually the case even if it isn't usually ruled as such. So in this context, Hayes' show isn't officially academic, but it basically might as well be.

Everyone Is Twelve Now is the Leopards Eating Faces Party of the 2020s.

They don't wanna eat their veggies because their mum told them it's healthy. And they're twelve.

If I had to guess its to allow for delusional AI to create and save files without causing an error when they put a rocket emoji in the file name for no reason
