i haven't written wangxian in 4 years but i can't stop thinking about wlw massage therapist wwx filling in for pro athlete lwj's normal masseuse

massages are usually a quiet, restful experience for lwj but this leggy (hot) woman will NOT stop complimenting her muscles as she feels them up

I wrote this about THE GOOD PLACE finale, but I now realize it also sums up my revulsion about the basic anti-humanity of AI avatars of the dead:

I hate that AI has made me approach cute animal videos with an air of suspicion. I resent having to harden my heart to the possibility of an unlikely friendship between a very large dog and a very small one

Did I go to the bar and make a Lisa Frank-themed social media ask for an organ? Yes.

benefits to donating:
- temporary break from work and responsibilities as you convalesce
- badass scar
- you grow your own organ back, that’s kinda cool
- good karma
- you save my life

Rare feel-good story about immigration and the power of voting…
She became a citizen this fall, and her first vote was to oust a Republican sheriff who had just contracted with ICE.

And the sheriff lost.

Powerful example of how it feels to make a difference:
An immigration advocate who registered to vote in Pennsylvania for the first time this fall says she is “full of hope and happiness” because Sheriff Fred Harran, who has closely partnered with ICE, was defeated, thanks in part to her vote.

And we knew this. This wasn't speculation. We studied it, we had the talking points. We trained volunteers to explain this to people. It's not a surprise. Rich people don't flee places with good quality of life when we increase the quality of life. They might try to cheat us, but they don't leave.

I say it over and over again: when you have that much money, you want to live where you want to live and you are simply not going to relocate because of marginal tax rates

Alan Dershowitz will never leave Martha’s Vineyard and they won’t even sell him a pierogi

RE starbucks picket line--the relevant detail is "picket line, do not cross." Pass that along. Proclaiming that you are in no danger of doing so because you are too aesthetically pure to let Starbucks coffee pass your lips is...unhelpful and does not give the impression you perhaps imagine it does.

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX
