Let me be clear.. EVERYBODY who has admin or mod privileges in ANY discord server that is even remotely adjacent to gamedev needs to @ everyone about what's going on, and they need to do it YESTERDAY. More ppl got caught up in this, coulda been avoided. Dont click links from ANYONE w/o interrogation
@rittzler.bsky.social (creator of Pseudoregalia), has had their Discord and email hacked and is linking to a virus in disguise. If you see anything linking to a game called "Furfall", DO NOT engage with it. It's not made by Rittz and isn't a real game (it's a Remote Access Trojan) DO NOT CLICK IT.

@dcellgames.com This is going to sound passive aggressive or whatever but I promise this is a genuine compliment: The overworld movement system in Unbeatable is *just* janky enough to be extremely funny. Truly the punk rock of movement systems.

The thing about how "pixel art was designed for CRTs" always kind of annoys me because: Pokemon wasn't. Pokemon was released on the Game Boy, which used a liquid crystal display. Nobody ever seems to think to bring this up. Drives me mad!!!

How it feels when you're doing last minute work on your demo and you discover that using bool(value) to cast to a bool basically crashes the game but ONLY on web builds and ONLY in Chromium.

It's absurd and dystopian that payment processors get to decide what we can and can't see on the internet.

That companies like Visa and Mastercard can use their enormous size to bully companies into taking stuff offline - based on the reactionary politics of a small group.

Corru Observer is still one of the coolest (free!) things you can experience in your web browser.

A wildly creative genre-hopping xenofiction mystery adventure about hacking into an alien biocomputer to discover why a visiting species cut off contact with humanity.

Huge recommendation from me.
happy corruversary my friends! three years of corru.observer. thank you all for playing in and enjoying the world we've created!

years ago, I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to share it in a meaningful way that would really connect with people... if only I knew!!

"The game only exists in the player's mind" is a decent design philosophy. Lots of very good results come from that mode of thinking, which is why it's adopted by approximately 99% of the industry.

But I don't think it should be treated like a universal truth.
