💥 NEW: Colorado is the 1st state to mandate air quality warnings on gas stoves.

🧪 Lots of good science backs this law. Gas stoves emit many air pollutants, including benzene, linked to heart disease, asthma, and leukemia.

Burning fossil fuels inside your house is dumb.

For their first project, my Kids and Society students have to create an infographic clarifying a common misconception about "kids these days." I'd prefer that they not use AI to create their projects, so I made my own infographic explaining why : )

Best advice I can give to parents: once a week go to the library, pick out a stack of books (make sure your kid gets to pick out several on their own) and then throughout the week, read them together. Reread their favorites. Talk about them together. Snuggle and read. Ask open ended questions.

Annnd another deep cut. Make your calls. Insist he not be confirmed.
Trump just tapped David Rosner (a paid cheerleader for the fracking industry) as the new head of FERC — the agency that oversees natural gas & oil transmission in the US.

This is what happens when we don’t make noise about Big Oil advocates on FERC

Agency observers expect the White House will replace Rosner once two pending Republican FERC nominees — Laura Swett and David LaCerte — are seated at the commission.

This is absurd. They obviously are doing illegal things and don’t want any oversight. Shut #ICE down. ICE Is Going to Sinister Lengths to Avoid Accountability.

Planes used for deportation flights are flying without tail numbers so they’re harder for activists and watchdogs to track.
