Energy nerd guy here: the US grid is 99.99+% reliable. The best single power plant will have ~2 weeks a year of scheduled maintenance. That's 96% on line assuming nothing goes wrong. No single generator can meet the reliability of the grid. Every business knows this. TLDR: Trump is dumb.

You can build it inside the plant or you can build it outside the plant...you become a utility...if you look at California, they have brownouts, blackouts, & everything else"
