It is with heavy heart (and, unfortunately, deep affection) that I must reshare a snippet from the 1980s masterpiece “Yes, Prime Minister”, in relation to Russia’s drone attack on a NATO ally.

Trump likes Putin and Russia. Trump wants to "get along" with Putin and with Russia. When under intense pressure, he makes vague threats about punishing Russia which he then ignores, or converts into diplomatic favours for Russia. None of this is likely to change.

One of the most common arguments you hear from fans of generative ‘AI’ is that it’s not plagiarizing people’s work, it’s just learning like a human learns. So I’m going to break down why that’s just not true, and why it can never be true, with the existing systems. 1/

Ukrainians don't want to be martyrs and sacrifice ourselves "for the common good." Ukraine has already won Europe almost three years to prepare - literally paid for this time in blood.

We deserve peace, and we deserve to be a strong prosperous state.

The TikTok ban, the Musk Twitter takeover, the Facebook moderation policy changes, the Republicans’ rapidly intensifying crackdowns on speech... let these be the proof you needed to move anything you care about online to a space you control.

Digital sovereignty is more important than ever.

The fact you've let us occupy parts of countries for over 30 years & still pursued "pragmatic relations" with us in no way influenced our belief that you thought invasions & occupations were not things that bothered you.

Actually, we noted your inaction. The price of appeasement only goes up.

Legit. Will putting an 18 yo in a green uniform protect them from a missile? For all the "never agains" and "as long as it takes" it is obvious - genocide will be allowed. And soon it will be rewarded with business as usual. Until the next genocide.
Next time our "allies" suggest anything about Ukrainian mobilization - ask them how will that help against a torrent of russian gliding bombs, and why is russian aviation still intact.

We will not forget the indifference and hypocrisy with which "civilized world" treats us.

Getting ready to "deactivate" my Xitter (nee Twitter) account... "Joined December 2007". Three letter username. I can't even recall those early days. But I am sure they were happier ones. US billionaire fascists were not even on the horizon and Dunning Kruger was just a joke, not a global movement.
