I'm not angry at the party for the covid response, I'm angry at the party for putting profits before the health of constituents.

It's the capitulation, stupid, to coin a phrase.

I had Jackson campaign staffers crashing at my house during the '88 primary. Jackson is absolutely right here. And it explains why the Dem establishment did to him what they have done to every non-Big Business aligned candidate in my lifetime of 60+ years.

This registered Democrat was worried that Democrats would not respond in kind, so this is refreshing after 40+ years of watching them play nice with these assholes.
one thing i think is true is that republicans assumed that democrats would not respond in kind and that the forceful pushback spooked them (a lesson to learn here, perhaps)
Trump's corrupt scheme to rig 2026 is suddenly falling apart:

*Court strikes down Texas GOP gerrymander
*Indiana GOP lacks votes to redraw map
*Big Dem win in Virginia could give Ds more seats

Journalists all pretending that they are actually going to release this stuff. Don't get me wrong. The vote to release them will happen. Then the DoJ will refuse to release anything damning to Trump, and that will literally be the end of it.

You know, it's pretty fucking funny that the GOP majority leader in the senate is more popular that the Dem minority leader -- in the latter's home state. Let that one sink in a bit. Schumer is on borrowed time.

They will vote to release the files, and then the DoJ will release the bits that hurt Trump's opponents -- and this is all we're going to get, folks.

They. Will. Never. Release. The. Trump. Bits.

I hope this clears things up (and that I'm wrong).
