My statement on today’s shameful Senate vote. What our Commonwealth needs from its legislators is leadership, for those of us who have the honor of sitting on the Senate Floor to do our jobs and pass a budget that invests in Pennsylvania’s people and communities.

How Far do your tax dollars for Transit go?

After people complaining over and over that SEPTA was inefficient, I had to run the numbers of Ridership to Operating budgets and would you look at that.
Not only is SEPTA good with money, but they are literally the best in the US

Only New York, Boston, Minneapolis, and Philly get the majority of their transit budget from the state. Unlike the blue states, we know how Harrisburg feels about transit. Even getting over this crisis, the status quo is never going to work out in the long term!
