On some level I no longer care, as I'm backing out of that hellsite like Homer dissolving into the bushes, but it's still upsetting—if not surprising—to see how many major companies will obey with fascism in advance now and always.

Bluesky will attract bad actors, it's not immune. The good news is you don't have to block them one by one, Bluesky has moderation lists managed by others (or even you) to help you mass block accounts as they turn up. All you need to do is visit the list, hit subscribe, then choose block or mute.
