To the world:
We are fighting back. Our movement has been silenced by the media here—but we are not backing down. This is what our streets looked like across multiple cities. Tomorrow, there will be more of us! Raise a glass to freedom.

—With love,
Your American allies.

Hands Off!
Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. They're taking everything they can get their hands on and daring the world to stop them. On Saturday, April 5th, we're taking to the streets nationwide to fight back with a clear message: Hands Off!

Being disabled isn’t some abstract concept. It’s not a moral failing. It’s not something you can “try harder” their way out of.

It’s something that can happen to anyone at any time.

Once it happens to you, you will understand how little support exists. Help us & your future self will thank you.

Not being able to talk to a real person at the Social Security Administration when you need help or your local office closing due to staffing cuts is a benefit cut—point blank.

Elon needs to get his hands OFF Social Security.

Repost if you agree.

I don’t know who is being hauled out of the state of the union right now, but I love him. Also, as a fellow cane user, I love seeing some one else disabled like me stand up to what’s wrong.

♿Social Security is NOT just for Seniors. It's also for people like me with Disabilities, people who receive Survivors Benefits & Veterans who receive Social Security benefits.

Before I became disabled, I PAID into the program with EVERY paycheck. There are MILLIONS more like me & it is OUR MONEY!♿

Definitely feeling like I’m seeing more research on ME/CFS than ever before.

In 2024 there was an average of 56 papers published per month for “chronic fatigue syndrome” [based on PubMed].

In the two months of 2025 so far there have been 143, which is 71.5 per month.

This is positive, but is still shockingly below levels for other severe diseases.

For example, Parkinson’s disease had 10,784 papers published on it in 2024 alone, and 2,177 in the first two months of 2025.

Yet the disease burden of ME/CFS is significantly greater

My granduncle didn’t take a bullet to the face and die at Iwo Jima, and my grandpa didn’t get shot in his face at Saipan, for nothing.

They fought for a global order that JD Vance, Trump, and Marco Rubio just disgraced by siding with Putin over Ukraine.

I'm OUTRAGED at Trump voters, ARE YOU?

As someone on SSDI, I can attest that it’s already hard enough to get approved and get help when needed. These cuts and lay offs are incredibly cruel to our most vulnerable neighbors
Imagine waiting MONTHS for the Social Security check that keeps you housed & fed—because staff cuts crippled the system.

This the opposite of 'efficiency' and vulnerable Americans will suffer.
Lies, Cuts, Closures: Trump and Musk Ravage Social Security Administration

First, the Trump administration closed field offices, then they fired online help workers. How will Americans access their benefits?

Defending other women is always worth the spoons
Try to send private security with zip ties to take away another woman in my presence…try it.

I may get my ass beat, but she’s not going down alone.

Looks like tomorrow will bring votes on a Republican plan to fund tax cuts for the rich by slashing Medicaid.

So this is a great time to contact your Member of Congress.

NIH recently found 1 in 22 ppl who’d had Covid developed ME/CFS. The “mild” form of that disease, as @julialmv.bsky.social’s graph shows, means losing capacity to do 50% of your daily activities.

What would you give up?

Friends? Time w/your kids? Could you cut work hours in half w/o losing yr job?
