Trying to find a balance between art practice/learning but also working on personal projects to stay motivated is not as easy as I imagined. I have the ideas but the skill level isn’t there yet so it makes me doubt. BUT I also know I can make them and then just go back to fix them once they exist.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

By the way, that thing you enjoy doing doesn't need to be for anything other than your own enjoyment. It's not a waste of time if you're not "earning" something from it. It doesn't need to be writing or drawing either, it can be a side hobby, like right now, I'm having fun making video edits.

A lot of folks use wetransfer to send final files to their AD. Just a heads up that they changed their terms of service to say that they own the right to any work you upload and can use it to "train" their machine learning and also to reproduce it indefinitely
