Had the audacity to be too busy to play Silksong within a week of release so now I’ve been spoiled on so much shit by game news articles, yt thumbnails, etc. that I’m no longer excited in playing a game I’ve been waiting 6 years for.

The misinformation about LLMs in the general public (people acting like it is or could become sapient) makes me believe we need basic computer science as part of grade school curriculum. It's hard to convey the limitations of these things when most people don't seem to know how computers work.

This isn’t evidence-based, but I feel that as mediums have become less demanding of one’s active engagement, media trends select more for those with natural charisma rather than those with knowledge, skill, or talent beyond being situationally entertaining.
