Yea, the term "difficulty" is a lot fuzzier than many seem to realize, especially when you get into testing the player's mental vs physical responses and what the punishments are for failing those tests.
It's not quantifiable like a game's performance or hardware requirements.

Alien feels like a franchise where my enjoyment is contingent on explicitly ignoring the concepts of canon and continuity.
There’s like 7 Alien movies, and like 3 of them are good if I’m being generous to Romulus, and Ii gets worse if you count AVP and other weird crossover media.
