David Lynch was my all-time favorite. A world without new art of his is heartbreaking.

Do we think David Lynch switched to Zyn?

Really let down by Nosferatu. Not scary, no real sense of dread. Great production design, cinematography, and a revelatory Lily-Rose Depp performance. Just didn't cohere into anything compelling for me.

Also, people that write-off movies before they come out; it seems painful to be so cynical. Give life the room to surprise you. I promise you'll be happier.

They (seemingly) finally figured out the thing that makes Superman compelling; he is good. That's all you need! A hero trying to do good! We could all use that right now. And the colors! Can't wait.

Healthcare should not be a for-profit industry.

Yes, healthcare professionals should be paid well.

No, the companies that employ those people should not be working to generate higher profits year over year for shareholders.

Profits occur when you make more revenue than you pay your employees.

Red Rooms is one of my favorite films of the year. To me, it's about the drive to feel anything in a world so rife with trauma that, before you know it, you've fully disconnected from it. I think it's also about how you can be drawn to depravity and still do the right thing. Juliette Gariépy stuns.

Literally begging anyone who has seen Red Rooms to DM me so I can talk this film out. I'm floored. 🎥 🎬 #filmsky

I have always been Team Luigi because I respect that he has stayed true to himself while living in the shadow of his more famous brother.

Unrelated: I recently heard someone say, “If my doctor says I need a medication why can my insurance company tell me I don’t?” and that has really stuck with me.

An illuminating read. I am currently on unpaid leave from work due to chronic back pain that makes me unable to work. And I have been denied both temporary disability and unemployment. So my bank account goes more into the red and my pain goes untreated. It makes me sad that others suffer the same.

If you think DVD and Blu-ray is dead, you’re wrong. Physical media is alive and well. It’s just moved online.

Vinegar Syndrome, Arrow Video, MVD, Severin, Criterion, Shout Studios, Kino Lorber, Umbrella Entertainment, Imprint Films, Radiance, Terror Vision, A24, NEON, and many more are killing it
