I keep thinking about how terrible it is that so many people will be losing their health insurance in January due to costs and cuts. I was rejected from insurance once before the ACA [preexisting conditions]. I was hospitalized that year and it almost bankrupted me. We need universal heathcare ASAP.

The r-word is a demoralizing slur that should NEVER be used as an insult. Trump did it yesterday and plenty of otherwise tolerant blue accounts jumped on board using it to describe Trump instead.

the thing is despite 80 years of conservative propaganda, americans do not hate the concept of government. this is in no way a small government nation. im not saying america is full on socialism, but it utterly rejects the con notion of little to no govt in our lives.
