Was visiting family in SC this weekend & went with parents to church (Catholic). The priest preached compassion and love for others in his homily then the first prayer was for “all those falsely imprisoned” so you can’t tell me Francis didn’t shift the vibe
Pope Francis’s "Urbi et Orbi" Easter speech:

“How much contempt is stirred up at times towards the vulnerable, the marginalized and migrants...I appeal to all those in positions of political responsibility in our world not to yield to the logic of fear which only leads to isolation from others.”

A new study models the impact of the implosion of U.S.-funded disease treatment and prevention in the developing world — and suggests that Elon Musk and Marco Rubio will go down as among history’s greatest monsters if funding and effective administration are not restored.

From HIV and tuberculosis infections to millions of dead children, the deadly impact of Rubio, Musk and Trump’s agenda has been quantified.

Paraphrasing the Brexiteer 'Europe needs us more than we need them' justification for the UK committing its own act of economic self-sabotage.

In the end, it was exposed as nonsense. UK trading terms with the EU actually worsened, and our trade, economy and reputation have never recovered.

Hella time to be a historian who writes about the history of tariffs and trade policy...
One big point amid all the headlines: I was texting with press secretary Karoline Leavitt during the event and she confirms that the 34 percent tariff on China is ON TOP of the previous 20 percent. So that means the rate on China will be *54* percent when these tariffs take effect.

He needs to resign.
NEWS: RM @connolly.house.gov is calling on Acting Social Security Commissioner Leland Dudek to RESIGN.

Dudek cut contracts with Maine last month because Governor Mills made Trump angry. We have the emails.
