It’s weird to think that the entire generation of grandmas who would get those curly, helmet–like perms like a Estelle from Golden Girls have almost entirely departed this mortal plane by now. Much like a floppy disk icon, the iconography has outlived what it represented.

I literally just bought the long lost full OP, The Dream I Had in the Cosmos, from Orguss 02, on iTunes. Unobtanium for 30 years!
So much stuff is now legally available physically and digitally, especially music. It's wonderful to be able to buy stuff now.

We all go through that phase. I certainly did. As long as it leads you back to supporting what you love, it’s worth it IMHO
I also pirated a lot of shit when I was broke that now sits on my shelf now that I'm no longer broke. If Limewire never existed I would have never been hooting and hollering at the discotek panel when y'all announced Kite lol.

Why is everyone so paranoid about bootleg anime DVDs again, out of the blue? More importantly, why are people still buying DVDs!?
Blu-rays are almost impossible to pirate at scale – you have to burn every single one.

If you like an author's work, the best thing you can do is buy it. The second best thing you can do is ask your local library to buy it. Or, do both!
