This happened with AMAB/AFAB, with TME/TMA. Hell, in a year, TERFs will probobably be using "epistemicide" to talk about the ways cisgender women's experiences are erased by the very concept of transness. We cannot cede ground to abusers.
As another thing, if you think TERFs won't just aptly co-opt our new languages that we create in order to press at the edges of it til it breaks, you haven't been watching them long enough. Abusers manipulate and abuse.

Fact of the matter is "hey, I have uncertain feelings about my gender identity I want to discuss with a therapist who can help me make sense of them" and "I would like to change my sex characteristics" are two separate healthcare issues that can and should be provided independent of each other
