This is not just a musing from a dude with some various ideas. The next step is to hollow out the judiciary and also not follow their rulings, which have been against Musk’s efforts. This is a very obvious coup, for those not paying attention.

To much fanfare, Trump announced today that SoftBank was going to invest $50 billion in the US because they had confidence in Trump.

Except the two of them made the same announcement after Trump won in 2016.

Anyone, any entity, anywhere in the world can just pay him any amount (for anything he promises in return), and there's no disclosure of the payments, no oversight of any of it by anyone, and of course no potential bribery prosecution (of him) because... immune.
