My personal solution to this no-win scenario for what it’s worth was to suggest that we not play their stupid games. That we avoid Republicans’ obvious manipulation and just reject the premise that this non-binding resolution that has no substantive or policy effects is worth getting mad about

You would have to ask the ones who voted in favor, which my boss did not! My argument was that a non binding resolution that does not do anything may not be the best use of our emotional energy at a time when the President is threatening to imprison opponents and revoke network broadcast licenses
