Also watched Mulholland Drive (2001). A surrealist nightmare mystery about love, passion, and dreams... but I feel that the meaning has completely gone over my head. And that's okay, sometimes you don't understand art at first. I was still in awe of the presentation and direction.

Today, I watched Chef (2014) for the first time. For 10 years, the joke has been "watch Chef," and nobody actually tries to sell you on it. There's a heartfelt story here about a chef rekindling his passion for cooking while learning how to bond with his son. Good Dad Cinema.
