Excellent all-purpose question for most “disruptive” tech. Also handy for ideas that add more meaningless work to your job.
“Does it actually work in the sense that it reduces net labor rather than simply creating more labor” is the key question that’s almost never addressed. If it doesn’t then it’s, at best, a fad and, at worst, a way of trivializing their employees labor
