My small country, Estonia, population 1.3 million sent 2003-2014 over 2500 soldiers. 9 were killed in the line of duty. 109 wounded, half of them so seriously they could no longer lead a normal life.
In Iraq 2003-2009 we had more than 440 soldiers. 2 were killed. 18 seriously wounded.

AFAIK, he didn't threaten annexations and redrawing borders in his first term. If he did, definitely not with this intensity and persistence. This suggests Ru's 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine is making him jealous and anxious to do something big like that too to match his role model Putin.

It is still very very hard for me to believe that the greatest superpower in the world could not deliver more than 31 old M1A1 Abrams main battle tanks to Ukraine.
Especially given that just the largest single US storage site had about 2 000 Abrams tanks in storage, with some 3 500 stored in total
