My post in honor of National Movie Day. I don’t think I’m going to get to the theater for $4 movies today (I’ve already seen most stuff anyway), but I did finally get a chance to watch Red, White & Royal Blue last night. And it’s a YES for me. ❤️🤍💙

If you’re a fan of Coraline (and who isn’t?), this exhibit at MoPop featuring the films of Laika is so cool. The whole front of the exhibit was stuff from Coraline. ❤️

That's definitely a take. Sexist, ageist and just a little bit creepy, but a take. She's run a huge union, and she was in Spinal Tap. She's also been Emmy nominated and has almost 80 IMDB listings as an actor. Was elected by the membership, didn't just randomly seize power with her magical powers.

Huge congratulations to every entertainment industry CEO celebrating Emmy nominations today for work that other people wrote, directed, acted in, crewed, designed, produced, edited (and more!!!). And a non-sarcastic congratulations to the people who actually did the work!!!!

I’ve been mulling this over. I think my best answer is I’ve never seen any Fast & Furious movie. Also, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a Transformers movie, though I might have watched an early one on TV.

But I see a lot of movies (indies, classics & blockbusters), so these are rare exceptions.

Today at the movies. My second time seeing this brilliant film. Both of these movies are so, so good! ❤️ If you haven’t seen them, fix that as soon as possible. Stream the first one, then see the new one on the big screen while you can. 🍿🎬❤️
