I look on this and think that 249 years isn't actually a bad lifespan for a country; others have been around longer or done better but many not as well or long. It would have been nice to make it to 250 but one can't have everything in life. It will be a sad thing to watch it in its death throes.

I think what establishment democrats need to understand is that most of us hate them all very much for being so persistently useless and shitty in our time of desperation and it fills our hearts with hope and joy when someone who might not be those things beats them.
