It would not be interfering in politics; it would be upholding their oath to defend COTUS against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
It's time that the US Joint Chiefs of Staff made a move: liquidate the President and VP, suspend the Constitution and hand power to a bipartisan administration with the aim of restoring democracy, freedom and sanity to the United States. And, that way, avoid a civil war.

There is a valid role for the US military in Minnesota: To arrest the commando-wannabe's of ICE when they kidnap and arrest people without cause or warrant.

Trump's "God Bless the USA Bible," signed by Trump, yours for only $1000.
If true, this would be worth a fortune.

NATO was created after WWII to block Russian aggression in Europe.
Every Russian leader in the past 75 years has tried to destroy NATO.
Putin is finally succeeding by making Trump his bitch.
As a bonus Trump is bankrupting America.
Putin is laughing his ass off.

COTUS is irrelevant when Congress and SCOTUS sneer at it.
We are a quarter of the way through Trump’s 2nd Presidency.

In other words, by law, Trump must go in 3 years time and it’s unlikely he can change the constitution to allow a 3rd term, if he even makes it.

Thoughts?

I'm not some highly paid pundit, nor a historian, and hell, I only have a communications degree from a state universtiy, but I have to think that the thing that is most troubling for the rest of the world is not the president — but that neither our Congress nor our SCOTUS are stopping him.

Republicans in Congress could end this nightmare right now if they wanted to. Except they are cowards, afraid of an elderly, demented, malignant buffoon with a raging personality disorder.

Donald Trump's dictatorial "power" is dependent on complicity in the legislature and judiciary. In reality, he is just a useful idiot serving as the national face of two separate treasonous enterprises: the Christo-fascist takeover of America, and the selling out of America to our enemies.

The play "The Madness of King George" related the story of British king George III, who developed mental illness but wore the crown for at least a decade longer. He remained on the throne BECAUSE he was the king.

Donald Trump is NOT a king--just a mentally ill, incompetent, corrupt fascist bully.

Trump is dangerous only because rightwingers in the legislature and judiciary enable him and refuse to act responsibly.
No one can be watching this Davos speech and reach any conclusion but that the President of the United States is mentally disturbed and that something is deeply wrong with him. This is both embarrassing and extremely dangerous.

Everyone in government right now is just as guilty as trump. Tag your representatives and tell them to remove him, kicking, screaming and sh*tting himself.

Exactly. Military leaders who resign in protest against Trump's illegal and unconstitutional moves are just replaced by Trump loyalists. We don't need symbolic protests; we need action in fulfillment of the oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
It seems that a few US military leaders are resigning or threatening to resign because of Trump, and they will be replaced by incompetent sycophants, which will make the situation worse. We need military leaders who will defend the constitution, not the president.

Trump is not motivated by any political ideology. He sucks up to Putin because he wants to be accepted as an international gangster who respects no laws and no alliances, and exercises power not to benefit his own nation but to stroke his own ego.
It's simple, like Nancy has warned us, with Trump, all roads lead to Putin. So Trump's use of the childish excuse that b/c he didn't get the Nobel Peace Prize, he's going to conquer Greenland & alienate NATO to such an extent that they kick America out of it, has been Putin's lifelong dream.
January 20, 2026 at 7:55 PM
Should be, but it won't happen. Even if the Dems got their act together, the Repubs are too corrupt and cowardly to do what should be done, must be done.
To all Senators and Congressmen,

Trump should really be removed BEFORE he invades an ally nation. NOT AFTER.

Impeach, 25th amendment, whichever... just make it so!

Others have frequently made this point, but:

If Donald Trump were an agent of Russia sent to do Putin's bidding, what would he be doing DIFFERENTLY than what he is doing now?

Nothing. That's the answer. And that's terrifying.
