I know the main takeaway from Andrew Tate losing a boxing match is "this guy sucks and should be in jail but a sock to the jaw is satisfying," but it's also a reminder that training for aesthetics & training for sport are two *entirely* different things. I don’t think Larian understood that when they casually talk about their use of genAI it wasn’t spoken into a board room or a zoom call full of people thinking about numbers, it was to a host of fans who looked to them as an example of humanity and art persisting in spite of things like that.

The whole idea of “Girlfriend plays x game!” is so unbelievably absurd in the worst kind of way. As if “girlfriends” aren’t the type of people to play or like video games or could possibly be a gamer due to their relationship title/identity.
