I had a really weird dream last night. It was like the rapture, but instead of going to heaven, all libertarians were rendered incorporeal. Everyone else just got on with their lives, but there were libertarian ghosts everywhere trying unsuccessfully to make everyone else miserable.

A simple truth:
There is no job that requires 40 hours of work a week to get done. If 2 people split the workload those 2 people now have gainful employment, and the job still gets done. Having 2 jobs available instead of 1 hurts nothing but the profit margin.

My daughter is in 4th grade. They are reading Matilda in class and got to the “you chose books, I chose looks” part, and my daughter stood up and said “y’know Ms. G, you got the looks, AND the books. You win.” Ms. G called and said it’s the funniest thing that ever happened to her in school.

I’m becoming increasingly convinced we have the fucked up world we have because nobody actually reads the ToS on anything. Like we all just agree to shit without reading and then get mad when it doesn’t work the way we thought it did, even though how it works is spelled out in excruciating detail.

Someone tell Elon that I found a good use for his $400 million dollar charity shortfall. Turns out there are tons of displaced people having a hard time getting basic necessities.
