Yep. I loved Louis CK. It hurt bad when it turned out he was a creep.
Here's a thing that I despise: When someone is outed as an abuser, TERF, terrible human, and ppl start going "I never liked them anyway" "I never found them funny" "They never wrote good things to begin with" and seriously shut the hell up. All of that is just to position you are superior and (cont)

If you're struggling mentally, remember that you need to outlive these bastards. Look at all the tea you'd miss out on if you went away so soon. Who else are we going to share our popcorn with? We have so much extra popcorn. Death will come eventually. No need to rush to that destination.

Ducks eat for free at Subway
Everyone has one Mitch Hedberg joke stashed in their brain like a squirrel to sustain them whenever they need to feel joy for 30 seconds and mine is “they say the recipe for Sprite is Lemon and Lime but I tried to make it at home, there’s more to it than that”

So let's all be adults. Some issues go beyond politics. If you voted for Trump, you can't ask for bygones from people in your circle or even your family who Trump has identified as scum, vermin, etc.
Man up and accept that others have reached a conclusion about you. /9x

Not the most terrifying thing but perhaps the most infuriating: every single thing we said about these fascist Republican fucks has been proved out and all the people who assured us that what is happening would never happen smoothly pivoted to yes it's happening but it will be fine.

A lot of things that Biden wants to do are things I think are good things we should do.

A lot of things Trump wants to do are things I think are bad things we shouldn't do.

Therefore I will be supporting Biden even though I don't agree with him on everything.

This is not complicated.
Excited to introduce a project I've been working on for a long time: a thorough comparison of Biden and Trump on the issues. "The stakes, not the odds," to borrow from Jay Rosen.

The initial version has 6 topics, but I'll be adding more, as well as updating with new statements/policies. Gift link:
Where Joe Biden and Donald Trump Stand on the Issues
Here’s what President Biden and former President Donald J. Trump have done and want to do on abortion, democracy, the economy, immigration, Israel and Gaza, and Social Security and Medicare.

I love that Joe Manchin squirts off his boat every so often to say "I won't vote for any solutions unless you get permission from the people who want to make all the problems worse" and half the media will go "ah yes, the great moderate statesman."
