Thinking about this some more, basically the only path to maintaining something like constitutional continuity is for Trump to be impeached, convicted, and removed sometime will before the end of his term, right?
I'm still not sure what kind of continuity can be had amidst all this, and tbh I'm kind of hoping we get a bit of an appetite for radical constitutional reform going

But... yeah. It's interesting.
