A daycare. Every day in Chicago. The state is not stopping this. Pritzker’s and Johnson’s cops have ONLY been protecting these assaults so there is so far nothing that is stopping them besides unarmed residents screaming. How many children are technically orphans now @govpritzker.illinois.gov?

The recent ICE raid which emptied an entire apartment building was apparently at the request of Wells Fargo, which is trying to foreclose on the building.

The building is in a 27 million dollar foreclosure filed by Wells Fargo. The next day, Wells Fargo filed an emergency motion for receivership. The fascist regime kindly emptied the building for donor Wells Fargo.

to push w/e is popular instead of trying to popularize justice is to admit you lack moral leadership
EXCLUSIVE: A top Democratic strategist has launched new policy research and messaging hub, called Searchlight, with a goal of pushing the party toward the most effective, broadly popular positions.
Dems are quietly forming a think tank to help them win again
Searchlight, a name inspired by the birthplace of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, comes at a precarious moment for a Democratic Party.

Here we go. Per their pattern of fucking over specific people and civil rights timed with the month/day those people/issues are acknowledged, we can be sure shit is going down next month. The Dobbs anniversary is in June and they’ll want maximum cruelty (+ to hijack the media cycle from advocates)

I’m not reposting anything with RFK Jr’s face on it out of respect for xour eyes but “autism epidemic” is like saying “freckles epidemic” or “cleft chin epidemic” it’s not a disease it’s just a way some people are and the thing we need to fix is a hostile societal framework.

Debates about anarchism versus socialism reveal that many people are unaware of the history of the socialist movement. At Offshoot, we made a zine explaining how this nonsensical binary shows a need for more political education on these terms people misrepresent. offshootjournal.org/anarchism-or...

They are arresting people on the streets, terminating their visas, and disappearing them for writing things they disagree with. This is where we are. Two months in. Right now. If you think they won’t begin coming after citizens soon, you are mistaken.

The first and most important thing to know about last night's Exec order is that it's intended to break current law and allow people throughout the federal gov look at yr tax returns. Beyond that it's intended to compel states to turn over all their data to the fed govt.

UNREAL. ICE implies in a sworn declaration that MOST of the Venezuelans sentenced to hard labor in a brutal Central American prison without charge or trial or so much as a cursory hearing had never been convicted or even charged with ANY CRIME whatsoever, not even a trivial one, anywhere, ever!

that the decision to single out, detain &persecute someone for their political speech was made by those at the highest levels is the purest distillation of fascism. so many dems are silent bc, by framing anti-genocide speech as antisemitic for over a year, they helped create the conditions for this

Exceptions to abortion bans for “the pregnant person’s life or health” sound reasonable and even good. But instead they’re deeply stigmatizing by legally enshrining the false premise that pregnancy is not inherently of great importance to every pregnant person’s health and life.

Police killed more people in 2024 than any year in more than a decade. Black people were 30% of those killed by police in 2024 despite being only 13% of the population. There were only 13 days in 2024 when police didn't kill someone (that we know of).
